Slab lifting and leveling for sunken driveways, patios, walkways and garage floors, using injected foam or grout to raise concrete and fill the void below.
A slab that has dropped can be a trip hazard, a place where water pools and a sign that soil underneath has moved. Instead of breaking out the concrete and starting over, lifting methods inject material through small holes to raise the slab and fill the void. Many Nashville driveways, walkways and patios settle after seasons of rain and dry spells, and a lift is often the faster and less disruptive way to correct them.
We check the slab for cracks, tilt and gaps and look at what caused the void, such as a downspout, a washed-out edge or a poor base. We drill small holes, inject polyurethane foam or cementitious grout beneath the slab and raise it in small steps while watching the level. The holes are patched and the slab is cleaned. We explain that a lift fixes the height, not the cause, so we also look at gutters and grading to keep water from washing the soil out again. Badly cracked or crumbled slabs may need replacement instead.
